Warehouse Assistant – Sterling, VA

The Staff Pad is looking for a reliable Warehouse Assistant to join a growing, nationally recognized moving company in Sterling, VA. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help keep operations running smoothly by managing inventory, operating a forklift, and supporting daily warehouse activities.

Must have prior moving company experience.

What You’ll Do

Operate a forklift safely to move, stack, and retrieve materials.

Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently.

Maintain and organize inventory for both company equipment and customer items.

Inspect equipment regularly and report any issues.

Work closely with team members to fulfill orders and meet deadlines.

Follow all safety procedures to ensure a secure work environment.

What We’re Looking For

Previous forklift operation experience (required).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding setting.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Valid forklift certification preferred.

Reliable transportation.

Valid State ID or Drivers Licenses.

40 minute commute max to sterling location.
