Job Summary :

The Production Supervisor supervises and manages the performance of day-to-day operational activities which may include pit and / or plant production (primary, secondary, chip plant, wash plant, etc.) as well as plant and mobile equipment maintenance. This position is responsible for all aspects of training and developing a safe and efficient hourly workforce through use of the company's safety policies and procedures, MSHA, and other regulations. The Production Supervisor will assist the Production Superintendent and / or the Operations Manager in all aspects of his / her duties including, but not limited to, taking a personal role in the continued improvement of the safety program, cost projections and continuous improvement justifications, hiring, discipline, and performance evaluations for hourly employees, ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies, meeting production and costs goals, quality control and other functions as assigned by management.
