Rebuilding Together Greater Florida (RTGFL) is a nonprofit organization committed to repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives. We bring volunteers and partners together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners, especially seniors, veterans, and families in need.
We are seeking a creative and driven Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Role Overview
As a Marketing Specialist, you will support a variety of initiatives including content development, social media engagement, graphic design, website updates, and brand promotion. You will help share our mission and impact with the communities we serve while developing your skills across multiple areas of marketing and communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Assist with digital marketing campaigns, track performance metrics, and maintain the marketing calendar
- Write engaging content for social media, blogs, email newsletters, and other promotional materials
- Design visuals for web, email, social media, and print using Adobe Creative Suite
- Update and manage website content in WordPress, including landing pages, images, and blog posts
- Support brand consistency by sourcing promotional materials and ensuring alignment with branding guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experienceTwo to five years of experience in a marketing or communications roleProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and IllustratorExperience managing website content using WordPressFamiliarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, or Social PilotStrong attention to detail, creativity, and time managementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environmentReliable transportation required and the ability to travel within assigned district(s) as well as occasionally assist in other districts as neededPreferred Skills
Basic knowledge of SEO and Google AnalyticsExperience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant ContactPhotography or video editing experienceExperience working with nonprofit organizationsWhat We Offer
