ABR Employment Services is working with a component manufacturer of wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electromechanical assemblies in Mayville, WI to fill a Lead Quality Technician position.

This is a first shift position with hours from 6 AM to 2 : 30 PM. Starting pay is $25 / hour.

The Lead Quality Technician plays a vital role in maintaining and improving our quality program and ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 standards. This position operates in a fast-paced, proactive environment and offers a dynamic mix of hands-on responsibilities, including CAD design opportunities, and customer interaction. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with internal staff to ensure compliance with customer requirements and drive continuous quality improvement.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Team lead of day-to-day quality assurance inspections.
  • Collaborate with customer engineering and production teams to design and build prototype assemblies and wire harness solutions.
  • Quality assurance initiatives and uphold ISO 9001 compliance.
  • Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure product quality.
  • Analyze and resolve quality issues.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed.
  • Maintain documentation related to quality processes and compliance standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff to reinforce quality standards.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of quality control procedures.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • CAD and PPAP experience a plus.
  • Quality assurance knowledge coupled with ISO 9001 standards preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools, testing equipment, and data analysis.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
