• On-Call Hours\n
• Monday – Saturday : 4 : 00 PM to 8 : 00 AM (next day)\n
• Sunday : 8 : 00 AM to 8 : 00 AM (Monday)\n
• Holidays (24 hours) : New Year's Eve / Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve / Day\nOn-Call Minimum Commitment\n
• 42 on-call shifts (Monday–Thursday) per year\n
• 10 weekend (Friday–Monday) on-call periods per year\n
• 2 full (24-hour) holiday shifts per year\nWhat We're Looking For :

Qualifications\nEducation\nAssociate Degree in Nursing – Required\nGraduate of an accredited nursing program

Experience\nMinimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse – Required\n1+ year of acute dialysis experience – Required

Licensure & Certification\nCurrent RN license – State of South Carolina – Required\nCurrent BLS certification – Required\nRefer to Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096

Skills & Requirements\nProficient in all duties of an Acute Dialysis RN\nFunctional proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and hospital EMR systems (within 90 days of hire)\nFluent in written and verbal communication required to perform job duties\nNephrology certification - preferred

What You'll Do :

Position Summary\nThe Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute provides professional hemodialysis nursing care to hospitalized patients under the hospital's license. The Dialysis RN works independently and must demonstrate the ability to perform all dialysis procedures, including being available for on-call dialysis coverage.

This role requires clinical proficiency, collaboration with hospital staff, and a commitment to patient-centered care. The RN will be responsible for initiating, monitoring, and discontinuing dialysis treatments, and will document all relevant care in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Key Responsibilities\nProvide compassionate, professional dialysis care using prescribed renal replacement therapies\nPerform pre- and post-treatment assessments, initiate treatment, administer medications, and ensure proper documentation\nDocument assessments, vitals, treatments, and clinical observations in the patient's medical record; notify providers of any critical changes\nServe as a clinical resource and preceptor for less experienced staff; oversee daily function of multi-treatment dialysis suites\nCommunicate emergent issues or complications to the supervisor, hospital staff, and providers\nComplete administrative duties including : \nEquipment safety checks\nDialysis suite setup and breakdown\nCharge form submission\nHospital orientations, competencies, and in-services
