Manager of Technical Services

📍 US-Based | Full-Time - Remote position

1406 Consulting is a HubSpot Elite Partner and fast-growing EOS-run, AI-first agency. We’re continuing to scale consistently year over year, and we’re looking for a Manager of Technical Services to lead and scale our delivery teams.

This is a player-coach role : you’ll manage HubSpot Implementation Specialists, Developers, and Creative resources, while staying directly engaged with clients and presales opportunities.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a high-performing, remote, technical team.
  • Allocate your time across :

50% Leadership – team management, process improvement, EOS accountability.

25% Client Work – complex deliverables, VIP clients, hands-on delivery.

25% Pre-sales – partnering with Sales & Client Success as a solutions architect.

  • Act as an escalation point for complex client needs.
  • Design scalable HubSpot or development solutions across integrations, migrations, APIs, CMS, and automation.
  • Leverage AI / LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) to optimize delivery and innovation.
  • What We’re Looking For

  • Proven people leader with direct management experience in technical services, development, or consulting.
  • Deep technical expertise in either :
  • HubSpot (3+ years advanced architecture & implementation) OR

    Development (3+ years delivering custom integrations or solutions).

  • Daily comfort with AI tools and LLMs.
  • Strong consultative, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.

  • Compensation

  • Base Salary : $100,000–$115,000
  • Variable Compensation : tied to utilization, profitability, and client satisfaction (paid bi-annually).
  • Target Annual Earnings (TAE) : $115,000–$130,000
