Action Industries is seeking skilled Combination Welders in various trades to join our team in the Gulf Coast region. As a Combination Welder, you will be responsible for welding various types of piping and metal structures according to specifications and blueprints. The majority of positions are in a plant environment and all positions require plant experience, but some will be in different environments.

About the Role :

As a Welder in the construction industry, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and fabrication of metal structures and components. Your expertise in various welding techniques will ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to interpret blueprints and specifications, translating them into precise welds and fabrications. The end result of your work will contribute significantly to the structural integrity and durability of buildings and infrastructure. Ultimately, your craftsmanship will be visible in the finished projects, reflecting both your skill and dedication to excellence.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in welding from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience in welding, particularly with stainless steel and metal fabrication.

The required skills in Arc, TIG, and MIG welding will be utilized daily to ensure that all metal components are fabricated to precise specifications. Your ability to read blueprints will be essential for understanding project requirements and executing welds accurately. Proficiency in using overhead cranes will enhance your efficiency in moving heavy materials, contributing to a safer work environment. Additionally, your knowledge of metal fabrication will allow you to create complex structures that meet both aesthetic and functional needs. Preferred skills such as brazing and familiarity with safety regulations will further enhance your effectiveness and adaptability in various construction projects.
