Shift : Nights – 3x12 hours (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Location : Easton, MD (University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton)

Job Overview : Looking for an experienced Telemetry RN to care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with cardiac and respiratory diagnoses. The role involves cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, management of lines and drips, and patient care in a step-down / telemetry unit. Floating to lower-acuity areas and sister facility (Chestertown) may be required.

Requirements : Experience : Minimum 2 years Telemetry experience; first-time travelers accepted

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI (required)

Licensure : Active MD RN license or compact license

Skills / Procedures : IV therapy, phlebotomy, PICC / central line management

Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management

Oxygen therapy, HFNC, tracheostomy care

Post-cardiac cath / angiogram care, CVA, pre / post neurosurgery care

Total joint replacement care

Floating : Within specialty and to sister location as needed

Patient Ratio : 1 : 5

Weekends / Holidays : Every other weekend required; holidays as scheduled
