Position Responsibilities for Prevention Specialist :
Plans and develops alcohol and other drug prevention and intervention services including groups and didactic presentationsImplements alcohol and other drug prevention and intervention services in accordance with generally accepted, results-oriented prevention practiceProvides training for professionals regarding alcohol and other drug use, abuse and dependency which reflect the generally held view of the agencyCarries out, in a timely manner, reporting, tracking and program evaluation as needed to document services, satisfy funders, measure effectiveness and as assigned by supervisor or administratorDevelops positive, productive working relationships with consumers in order to maintain and improve quality services for the community and carry out the mission of Clermont Recovery CenterPosition Requirements for Prevention Specialist :
Associate's degree in Human Service related field or two years related experience preferredMust be willing to obtain Prevention Credentials, obtaining an RA within the first 3 months then working towards an OCPSASome knowledge of human development, educational activities, substance abuse and mental health issuesStrong oral and written communications skills with the ability to work well with all levels of colleaguesGCBHS has been named a Top Workplace in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky every year since 2010!
