Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care needed by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, patient's family member(s) / significant others, professional peers, and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care. The RN will also direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, as well as administrative and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patient care requirements.
  • Implement and manage nursing care plans.
  • Collaborate with patients and health care teams for optimal care delivery.
  • Supervise nursing support staff in implementation of care.
  • Adhere to nursing practices and departmental guidelines.
  • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
  • 1 year experience in area of clinical specialty (preferred).
  • Current PA Registered Nurse License (required).
  • Basic Life Support certification (required).
  • Schedule

    This position requires night shifts, working a 12-hour schedule.
