Job Details :

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Permanent Senior Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is integral to the success of our operations and requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in the field. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the manufacturing process, with a particular focus on low volume engineer to order. They will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient manufacturing systems, managing teams, and driving continuous improvement to ensure maximum productivity and profitability.

Responsibilities :

1. Develop, design, and implement manufacturing processes and equipment for maximum efficiency, utilizing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

2. Analyze manufacturing workflow to develop the most efficient procedures and processes.

3. Troubleshoot issues and bottlenecks within the manufacturing process and devise strategies to reduce downtime and increase productivity.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product specifications and design manufacturing processes accordingly.

5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase output.

6. Manage and mentor teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

7. Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of systems and processes, making recommendations for improvements as needed.

8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of workplace safety.

9. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and components.

10. Forecast and manage budget for manufacturing processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.

3. Proven experience in low volume engineer to order.

4. Proficiency in CAD and other engineering software programs.

5. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology.

6. Demonstrated ability to manage teams and projects effectively.

7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.

8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

9. Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives.

10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

11. Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the Manufacturing industry.

12. Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
