Pay Information

$250 per hour

About The Position

seeking an experienced OB / GYN to provide 24-hour in-house coverage for labor and delivery. This is a hospital-based locum opportunity focusing on obstetric and gynecologic care, including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and inpatient gynecologic emergencies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for labor & delivery floor
  • Manage obstetric patients, deliveries, emergency gynecologic cases, and inpatient consultations
  • Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and circumcisions as needed
  • Oversee patient triage (10–15 patients / day) during assigned shifts
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Use Cerner EMR for all documentation and patient records

Job Requirements

  • Board Certified in OB / GYN – Required
  • Active Iowa Medical License or IMLC Letter of Qualification – Required (upload LOQ at submission)
  • Previous OB / GYN experience – Required
  • Clean malpractice and background preferred
