About The Position

Wellhart is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant specializing in Neurology for a 36-day locum tenens position in Illinois. The assignment begins on 10 / 06 / 2025, with 12-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 pm. The PA will be responsible for rounding on neurosurgery inpatients, performing patient assessments and documentation, assisting with care coordination and discharge planning, providing support in clinic as needed, and collaborating closely with neurosurgeons and the clinical team. This opportunity offers a comprehensive experience in neurosurgical care and the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment.

Job Responsibilities and Duties :

• Round on neurosurgery inpatients

• Collaborate closely with neurosurgeons and other clinical team members
• Ensure continuity of care for neurosurgical patients
