This position will require strong leadership skills while managing a team of installers and apprentice electricians
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise large scale projects from initiation to completion while coordinating with general contractors or superintendents to ensure timely project completion
- Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or risks, taking proactive measures to mitigate them
- Create and maintain project documentation, including daily reports, material orders, and schedules, and managing time sheets to ensure your team arrives on time
- Providing team knowledge and understanding of project planning and execution
- Continuously motivate, train, and support team to generate a productive work environment and to facilitate growth and advancement
- Maintain close communication with project manager, field supervisors, and other stakeholders (e.g., for change orders), and resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during project execution
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulation
- Executing plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and a variety of other electrical systems
- Logging activities and testing results
- Managing the planning of layout and installation of wiring and fixtures
- Place conduit, pipes, and tubing inside designated partitions, walls, or other designated areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes
- Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, or fixture
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on job specification and local codes
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system
- Inspect electrical systems to identity hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair to ensure compliance with codes
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Always monitor processes, materials, and surroundings to detect and assess problems
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

10+ years of Electrician experienceProven experience in a leadership roleExtensive experience working on residential projectsOSHA 30 preferredWorking Conditions & Requirements :
Job requires working in all elements depending on the job location and time of the year to include heat, cold, wind, and rainMust be able to sit, reach, stand, crawl, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, push and pull objects, and routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 poundsThe nature of the work may require you to work in restricted areas (closets, tunnels, crawl spaces, attics)Must be able to perform work at various heights of up to 50′ from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, cat walks or other safe work areasKnow how to operate scissor liftsRepetitive use of arms, hands and fingersPerform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit or moving or lifting heavy objects.
