Responsibilities Work in a hospital cardiac catheterization lab with 3 procedure rooms Care for adult and geriatric patient populations Perform both diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures Utilize Epic (Cupid), Pyxis, and SBAR systems in daily operations Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM Scheduled every other weekend and required to take call 8-10 days per 6-week period, including 1-2 weekends May float throughout all areas of the cath lab as needed Facility provides required scrub attire Responsibilities include assisting in all aspects of cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures Must be available to work required holiday coverage within assignment period per facility policy No blocked scheduling permitted and max 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed; RTO must be requested at application Return travelers must have been away from all Piedmont facilities for at least one full year Candidates must be prepared to complete onboarding items and schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing Travel pairs are not assigned the same shift on the same unit Modules and orientation are completed onsite and are non-billable Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cath Lab Technologist Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience with diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures Experience using Epic (Cupid), Pyxis, and SBAR is preferred Must hold a current GA or Compact license at the time of consideration; license required if applicable Able to provide two recent supervisory references (manager or above) Open to first-time travelers Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624057.
