What You’ll Be Doing :
Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelinesPlan nursing interventions for each resident based on individual needs and monitor the implementationEvaluate the effectiveness of care interventions, identify problems and trends and develop alternative interventions.Conduct family and resident educationAdminister medications and treatments timely and according to center policyTranscribe physician’s orders and chart progress notes in an informative, factual manner that reflects the care administered as well as the resident’s responseIdentify and report changes in condition to supervisor, physician and familyAccurately identify skin changes and follow skin management protocolsOrder and report diagnostic tests timelyFollow Pharmacy policy and procedures for ordering and delivering medications.Coordinate resident’s rehabilitation program with therapists to ensure rehabilitation needs are metMonitors that CNA documentation is completed dailyEnsures CNA assignments are completed on timePerform additional nursing care responsibilities as required and based on State Nurse Practice Act.Requirements :
Active state RN licenseCPR / BLS CertificationExperience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferredExcellent technical, assessment and documentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift 25 or more poundsAbility to stand, bend, and walk for extended time periodsTeam player, strong communicator, passionate about senior careSalary / Wage Range
Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.
