Key Job Details – Vermont Nursing Jobs Location : Middlebury, VT 05753 (Addison County, Vermont) Estimated Weekly Salary : $2610 - $2800 Assignment Length : Up to 25 weeks Start Date : December 8, 2025 Shift : 10-hour day shifts (Monday–Friday, 6 : 30am–5 : 00pm), rotating weekly and weekend call Hours per Week : 40 Holiday Requirement : Work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day) Patient Age Range : 0–99 years Unit : Surgical Services – Operating Room (Ortho, General, ENT, Urology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, OBGYN, Endoscopy) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Vermont or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience Prior travel nursing experience required Experience with C-sections required Ability to circulate; scrub nurse experience highly preferred Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications EPIC documentation experience within the past 2 years (required) Reliable personal or rental vehicle (no public transportation available) Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires November–April (Vermont nursing jobs winter requirement) Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities Deliver perioperative nursing care in a 2-OR, 1 procedure room, and endoscopy suite Circulate and / or scrub for surgical specialties : ortho, general, ENT, urology, podiatry, ophthalmology, OBGYN, and endoscopy Assist with C-sections and specialized surgical procedures Document patient care using EPIC; manage medications with Pyxis Respond to rotating weekly and weekend call (20-minute call back requirement) Collaborate with anesthesia and respiratory support teams (available 24 / 7) Maintain patient safety and deliver high-quality care for all age groups Follow hospital protocols for infection control and patient confidentiality Take your Operating Room RN career to the next level with this travel nursing job in Middlebury, Vermont.
