• Number of Beds : 12 LDRP, 2 C-section Suites, 3 Triage beds
• Patient Ratios : 1 : 1 during active labor / induction or cesarean section; 3 : 1 postpartum, 2 : 1 antepartum unless unstable
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : OB Surgical Tech staff that also function as unit secretary
• Type of equipment : GE Fetal Monitors and Novii II
• Documentation system : CPN – Centricity Perinatal / Meditech
• Scheduling requirements : 0545-1815 / 1745-0615
• On Call Requirements : None
• Floating policy : None
• Patient Experience requirements : Committed to understanding and learning about each individual families birth goals Must have : Minimum 2 years labor experience, prefer some postpartum experience ACLS, BLS, NRP and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or C-EFM Procedures performed on unit : Vaginal Deliveries, Cesarean Sections, D & C, Jada placement Unit Guidelines / Policies :
