Flexible, Remote Consulting Role

The client is a beauty brand currently in the product development and infrastructure setup phase. With plans to launch DTC and expand into major retailers, the brand is focused on regulatory compliance, supply chain readiness, and digital integration.

Job Description

Build foundational financial systems (budgeting, forecasting, P&L setup, margin analysis)

Support Shopify integration with warehouse systems

Advise on tax implications and net terms for national sales

Establish operational checks and balances

Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams

Guide supply chain finance and inventory accounting

Recommend and implement financial tracking / reporting tools

Ensure infrastructure readiness for Q1 / Q2 product launch

The Successful Applicant

5+ years of finance / accounting experience in beauty or consumer goods startups

Proven ability to build financial systems from scratch

Expertise in supply chain finance, DTC models, and margin optimization

Familiarity with Shopify, Excel, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar tools

Independence, flexibility, and comfort in fast-paced environments

East Coast availability preferred for team alignment
