Med / Surg RN Job Details Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,030-$2,180 per week Assignment Length : 13 weeks Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Unit (Medical / Surgical Nursing) Location : Hermiston, Oregon (97838) - Northeast Oregon nursing jobs Shift : Day Shift, 12-hour shifts Schedule : 3 shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours), including every other weekend Team Environment : Collaborate with 2-3 other Med / Surg nurses and a full-time Hospitalist physician Start Date : September 30, 2025 End Date : December 30, 2025 Med / Surg RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - Oregon RN license preferred Minimum 3 years of recent Medical / Surgical nursing experience Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association preferred) Experience providing care for both adult and pediatric patients in a clinical setting Strong ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the Med / Surg unit Collaborate with fellow nurses and the Hospitalist physician to achieve optimal patient outcomes Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, progress, and vital signs Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions as prescribed Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and healthcare staff Join our healthcare team in Hermiston, Oregon, and take the next step in your travel nursing career.
