Communications Operator

Provides quality communications service for patients and their families, the medical staff, and all departments within the hospital.

• High School education or equivalent required
• Computer skills; proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
• Switchboard experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to function in a complex environment under stressful conditions
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to perform routine clerical procedures
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships
