Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Fargo, ND 58104 (North Dakota nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center Unit : 2A - Admissions - Med / Surg (15 private bed unit) Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 1 / 5 / 2026, End : 4 / 6 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour nights (1900-0730), every other weekend and holiday Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Nurse to Patient Ratio : 6 : 1 (Nights) Dress Code : Navy Blue Scrubs Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2050 - $2200 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg nursing experience Level I Trauma Center experience required Proficiency with Epic charting system BLS certification (AHA required) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, acute care environment Willingness to float to other Med / Surg units as needed Travel nurses must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Perform initial admissions and deliver comprehensive care to Med / Surg patients Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with clinical best practices Utilize Epic for electronic health records, Zebra phones for communication, Omnicell for medication management, and Aleris IV pumps Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Participate in unit-specific training and orientation programs Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Experience rewarding travel nursing jobs in Fargo, ND, and make a real impact in acute care.
