Job Description :

As a Procurement Systems Analyst with OMES you will enjoy :

Position Summary :

The person filling this position shall provide functional support for the PeopleSoft Purchasing module.

Responsibilities :

  • Provides functional support to other State agencies for the Purchasing module and supports the integration of the module to / from other PeopleSoft modules.
  • Investigaes and researches issues related to the functionality of the Purchasing module.
  • Responds to service desk tickets to resolve Purchasing module functionality issues.
  • Develops and runs queries in the Purchasing module to provide data for further analysis, management decisions, reporting, etc.
  • Works in tandem with the Finance Center of Excellence (FCOE) Implementation Team to test and complete annual system upgrades.
  • Assists in maintaining and updating the Purchasing module workflow routing.
  • Performs item and category code maintenance within the Purchasing module as needed.
  • The functions described are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time; or the scope of the job may change as necessitated by agency demands.
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment :

  • This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually mild.
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Accounting, Business, Computer Sciences or related field; and
  • A minimum of two (2) years of related work experience on a procurement system; or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience, in which additional years of work experience may be used to offset the years of formal education required.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who possess :

  • Prior PeopleSoft Purchasing / ePro experience.
  • Current certification as a Certified Procurement Officer (CPO) for the State of Oklahoma.
