Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804 Healthcare Setting : Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit (all beds telemetry capable) Assignment Type : Travel RN Start Date : October 20, 2025 End Date : January 19, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Nights, 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM, every other weekend Weekly Hours : 36 (option for 48 hours available) Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680-$1800 Unit Size : 25 beds Patient Ratio : 5 : 1-6 : 1 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana (required with submission) BLS certification (required with submission) Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience Proficient in IV starts, NG tube, and Foley catheter placement Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Valid driver's license and permanent home address (must match ID) Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted) Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Provide primary nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Med / Surg Telemetry environment Conduct and document comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions Initiate and manage IVs, NG tubes, and Foley catheters Monitor and interpret telemetry for all assigned patients Deliver care for patients undergoing colorectal, bariatric, general surgeries, GI, renal, and diabetes management Administer wound care and manage ostomies Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols Apply now to join our healthcare team in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
