PrideStaff is seeking a Food Safety Supervisor in San Marcos, CA. This is an excellent direct hire opportunity! Position : Food Safety Supervisor Pay Rate : $30 / hr-$32 / hr Location : San Marcos, CA

Food Safety Supervisor Essential Functions :

• Develop, implement, and maintain food safety programs tailored to greenhouse production, including GAP and GMP
• Develop & maintain SOPs : Write, implement, and regularly review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all areas of food safety, including growing, harvesting, handling, packaging, and storage of all products. Ensure all SOPs align with regulatory standards (e.g., GAP, FDA, LGMA, Primus GFS v3.2) and industry's best practices.
• Assist Food Safety Manager with customer complaint communication and CAPA (Corrective Action and Preventative Action with Root Cause Determination)
• Provide ongoing training for employees regarding food safety, hygiene practices, and handling procedures. Update training materials as necessary to keep up with changes in regulations and practices.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of cooler facilities to identify and address potential food safety hazards. Document findings and issue work orders accordingly.
