Position : O.E. Technical Account Manager
Location : Livonia, MI
Reports to : Vice President, OE Sales
Overview : The main responsibility for this position includes being the program manager for new product launches and serve as a technical liaison between Hankook O.E. customers (automobile manufacturers) and the internal Hankook Teams in Engineering, R&D, Quality, Sales, and Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Receiving and analyzing customer technical RFQ documents and engineering requirements.Deliver project technical requirements to Hankook R&D teamsPresent technical assessments and program timing to customersBe the program manager for new product lines and develop launch timelines and timing plansBe the lead technical communicator and first customer contact for all technical teamsAnalyze car market technical trends and gather information related to customer new vehicle plans and technologiesMake technical presentations to customersAdditional duties defined by managementRequirements
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline requiredExperience working with a Tier 1 automotive supplierExperience working directly with automobile manufacturersExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenTire Industry experience preferred but not required
