To support the significant growth and development of the organization, we are seeking the expertise and capability of a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic team.
What You'll Do At HammerTech
- Prospect into strategic business accounts via cold call, email and social strategies
- Drive sales growth and pipeline through setting up meetings for Account Executives with prospective clients
- Build relationships with existing customers through consistent follow up, reliable communication and frequent updates on product developments, identify opportunities for expanded use of the HammerTech product, and set up meetings with Account Executives
Key Responsibilities
Anticipate prospective client needs by researching industry to identify new leadsAct as first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forwardSupport Account Executives on outbound strategies and lead generating effortsEstablish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and business development openingsBuild relationships with existing customers through consistent follow up, reliable communication and frequent updates on product developmentsClosely monitor existing HammerTech customers to identify opportunities for expanded use of the HammerTech product, and set up meetings to progress such expansionPresent product information to customers once needs are identifiedMonitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-ups with Account ExecutivesCollaborate with other members of the team to ensure the company's goals and targets are metOther duties to enhance business development as requiredAre You A Good Fit? Our Ideal Candidate Will Bring The Following :
Tertiary qualifications in sales, marketing, business or a related fieldExperience in SaaS business development in construction or related industryAbility to learn HammerTech's platform and functionality as it relates to the construction industryExcellent client services skills and the capacity to easily build rapport and establish relationships with prospects and clientsExcellent listening skills and the capacity to probe and clarify to get a real sense of customer's needsAnalytical problem-solving skillsCapacity to work effectively as part of a high performing teamStrong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and to meet strict deadlinesDemonstrated ability to meet weekly targets and key performance indicatorsProven initiative and a competitive driveStrong resilience, perseverance, and an ability to overcome objectionsExperience working with Salesforce / HubSpot or other CRM is desiredSuccessful completion of coursework in business development techniques, marketing, and communication may be advantageousWilling to travel domestically and internationally as requiredBenefits At HammerTech
