Key Responsibilities
Partners with executive leadership to design and implement cohesive internal and external communications, branding, and marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
Collaborates with functional leaders to establish a consistent cadence of messaging that reinforces strategic priorities across internal and external audiences.
Develops, reviews, and refines communication materials and templates to ensure clarity, alignment, and effectiveness—particularly in support of change management initiatives, board communications, and internal broad audience communications.
Oversees the company's internal and external communication platforms, including websites and social media, to enhance brand reputation, visibility, and engagement—while identifying opportunities to improve the generation of business leads through digital channels.
Defines and enforces brand standards to ensure messaging accuracy and alignment with the company's vision, values and strategic goals.
Works cross‑functionally with Commercial, Product Management, and other externally facing teams (e.g., Sustainability) to equip them with tailored tools, materials, and presentations that support their communication needs.
Leads the day‑to‑day operations of the Communications & Marketing team, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and timely execution of initiatives.
Coaches and supports leaders in developing effective communication and messaging capabilities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Guides the organization's response to media inquiries, media planning, and serves as the primary liaison to news and media outlets. Leads media engagement during issues or crises, drafts press releases, media statements, op‑eds, and other external communications. Advises leadership on risk mitigation and public response strategies, while actively monitoring media to support strategic planning.
Required Skills
Ability to consult with multiple departments and develop concise content that promotes appropriate messaging and ensures accuracy.
Knowledge of the principles, programs / platforms, practices, and techniques of oral, written, visual, video, other digital communications and interpersonal relations skills to determine the most effective communication methods and materials, ensuring message adoption and understanding.
Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout, and design skills; ability to present concepts verbally; professional printing / publishing skills are a plus.
Strong change‑management, organizational, and planning skills—particularly prioritization, collaboration, and accountability for results.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to work effectively with all levels within a global organization, particularly with executive management, and to take a global / organizational perspective in approach and messaging.
Education, Certifications & Licenses
Bachelor's Degree in a related field (English, Journalism, Marketing, etc.); Communications degree a plus.
Minimum of 7 years' experience developing and delivering internal communications.
Experience managing people and teams.
