Job Summary

The Director of Operations is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational success of multiple regions. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this position manages a team of Regional Managers, each leading a portfolio of stands. The Director ensures operational consistency, drives financial performance, fosters leadership development, and reinforces 7 Brew’s cultural values across all markets.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Oversight

Develop and implement operational strategies that align with 7 Brew’s mission, vision, and financial objectives.

Partner with the COO to set company-wide operational goals, KPIs, and initiatives to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Oversee Regional Managers to ensure consistent execution of policies, procedures, and brand standards.

Regional Management & Support

Act as the primary point of contact for Regional Managers, providing resources, solutions, and support.

Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and coaching sessions with Regional Managers.

Maintain accessibility through calls, texts, emails, and platforms like GroupMe for timely issue resolution.

Financial Accountability

Monitor financial performance across all regions, focusing on COGS, labor, and profitability.

Analyze reports to identify trends, implement corrective actions, and optimize costs without compromising quality.

Collaborate with COO and finance team to create budgets and forecasts that align with growth objectives.

Leadership Development & Talent Pipeline

Mentor and develop Regional Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline.

Identify high-potential leaders and provide tailored development opportunities.

Oversee training programs to ensure Regional Managers and teams are equipped to meet operational and cultural standards.

Operational Excellence & Consistency

Ensure quick service times (e.g., drive-thru times under 3 : 30) and exceptional customer experiences.

Standardize processes and oversee company-wide directives for consistency across stands.

Conduct regional audits to ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.

Sales & Growth Initiatives

Partner with Regional Managers to execute sales growth strategies and marketing initiatives.

Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for ticket growth and traffic increases.

Align regional growth efforts with company-wide marketing strategies.

Cultural Leadership

Champion 7 Brew’s values of positivity, kindness, and hustle across all regions.

Foster an empowering, collaborative culture that inspires teams to create “WOW moments” for customers.

Encourage community engagement and team-building initiatives within each region.

Feedback & Accountability

Provide actionable feedback to Regional Managers to drive operational improvements.

Hold Regional Managers accountable for financial goals, operational standards, and leadership development.

Celebrate successes while addressing deficiencies using data, performance metrics, and customer feedback.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality, or related field preferred, but not required. (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of multi-unit leadership in food & beverage, retail, or hospitality.

Proven track record of driving financial performance, operational excellence, and team development.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; comfortable using data to make decisions.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and motivational skills.

Proficiency in operational platforms (Teamworx, Net-Chef, financial reporting tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to travel regularly to support regions and engage with teams in-stand.
