- We are currently hiring for one position that may be based out of either our Florida or California office locations. While we are considering candidates from both coasts, only one role will be filled.

This position collaborates with the Mgr, Creative Operations and other members of the marketing team to bring to life effective and eye-catching designs and campaigns. As a graphic designer, this role uses the talent, experience and passion for design to create innovative and compelling content. This role can create assets for various platforms including social media, print, mobile, and emerging media. This role expertly and actively manages the required workflow and demands of various projects. This position collaborates with other creative team members, the marketing team, and other departments within the organization for deliverables and projects.
Essential Responsibilities :
Design Function :
Collaborates with the Mgr, Creative Operations, other members of the marketing team and clients to support all organization creative and marketing obligations.Takes the lead to create modern, compelling, unique, and inventive brand and marketing campaign designs across multiple platforms from concept to delivery.Determines voice and messaging for graphic design pieces.Quality assurance function for design spelling, grammar, and file production issues.Manages a range of design revisions as needed.Works with a wide range of media and graphic design software.Produces and organizes final files for print production and / or digital use.Applies ingenuity, creativity, analytical, and organizational skills to identify and evaluate design problems and develop strong solutions.Ensures projects are completed in a timely manner and under the budget restrictions.Manages multiple projects with different timelines and deadlines.Familiarity and alignment to brand guidelines and understanding of how they intuitively drive the visual direction of marketing and communications.Works with clients to understand the requirements of a project and provides a timeline and updates as the project progresses to build on the client relationships.Additional Responsibilities :
Perform general administrative duties including but not limited to :
Effectively handle various communications from, and to, stakeholders and other marketing team members via company messaging, telephone and e-mail, and determine the appropriate action that needs to be taken.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Minimum Education Required to Perform Job :
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Years of Relevant Work Experience Required to Perform Job Upon Hire :
5 to 7 years
Specific Experience Required :
Portfolio of work that shows a wide range of creative projects
Other Training, Technical Skills, or Knowledge Required :
Fluency in a Mac environmentExpert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud : Photoshop, InDesign, and IllustratorProficiency in Microsoft products such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint with experience creating PowerPoint presentationsExperience in fine arts, graphic design or visual communications with an emphasis in print and digital mediaPhoto editing skillsUnderstanding of print and digital specifications needed for all assetsAbility to learn and use design software programs to build emails and organize an asset libraryWell versed and experienced in design techniques, tools, principles, and typographyAware of market trends in design as well as current Disney brands, properties, and prioritiesUnderstanding of email design and email campaign processesOther Measurable Abilities Required :

The hiring range for this position in Florida is $56,800 to $85,200 per year and in California is $68,640 to 96,240 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and / or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
