Memorial 4 East consists of 20 private rooms. Each room has telemetry capability. The unit is designed to provide care for adult patients requiring critical care. 4 East patients include : general medical patients requiring monitoring of cardiac rhythms, oxygen supplementation, blood administration and other various treatments. Common diagnoses for 4 East are acute GI bleed, pneumonia and sepsis. Patients requiring inotropic therapy for cardiac or renal disease may be maintained. In acute situations, appropriate interventions may be initiated for stabilization with subsequent timely transfer to an intensive care unit.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
The primary responsibility of the LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse is to provide clinical leadership and direction of patient care, provide patient and family teaching, and work cooperatively within the interdisciplinary health care team in maintaining standards of nursing care within the framework of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse Educational / Experience Requirements
Graduate of state board approved School of Nursing.Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of OhioEducational and experiential qualifications with consideration of the following :
