Job Opportunity : OB / GYN Hospitalist (Locum to Perm) Join a dynamic team at a leading medical center in Des Moines, Iowa, where we prioritize quality care and community well-being. We are currently seeking a dedicated OB / GYN Hospitalist to start on January 1, 2026. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide inpatient care in our well-equipped facility, serving a high patient volume and working alongside a supportive staff. Job Responsibilities : Provide care for OBED patients. Manage emergent patients, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections. Assist patients without a primary OBGYN. Contribute to the only maternity transport team in Iowa. Qualifications : Board Certified - REQUIRED (truly board eligible candidates may be considered). Experience in OB / GYN specialty. Strong clinical judgment and communication skills. Team player with a patient-centered approach. License and Certification Requirements : Active Iowa Medical License or Active IMLC - REQUIRED.
