A company is looking for a PFS Insurance Specialist II to manage insurance verifications and authorizations for genetic testing.

Key Responsibilities

Verify insurance coverage benefits and determine authorization requirements for genetic testing

Send authorization requests and follow up on their statuses

Coordinate with vendors and report payer-related issues for process improvements

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years of experience in obtaining approvals for prior authorizations

Knowledge of CPT codes, medical terminology, and ICD-10 codes

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment

Excellent computer skills and understanding of payer plans coverage
