Maintenance Electronic Technician - 1st Shift - Amarillo Ground Beef

This position will be responsible for maintaining the electrical integrity of all equipment at Caviness Beef Packers. The right applicant will have a vast understanding of electricity and lower voltage functions on equipment.

While performing the duties the employee is regularly exposed to wet and / or humid conditions with slippery surfaces at varied heights; moving mechanical parts; fast paced warm / cool environment. The employee must work with chemicals and solvents and have the ability to operate moving vehicles. Positions require standing or walking the entire shift, the use of stairs, and the use of PPE which is required in all areas of the facility. (Not an all-inclusive list)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties will include but are not limited to :

• May operate heavy machinery
• Use a variety of tools to repair, retrieve and maintain all equipment in working order
• Conduct daily set-up of area and troubleshoot
• Working around or with machinery and power sources such as electricity
• Ensuring safety, food safety, and quality
• Cleanliness and housekeeping
• Maintaining a safe working environment
• Collaborate with IT professionals to ensure system functionality
• Troubleshoot issues with both electrical and IT components
