job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssists in the design, build, and test of small satellite GN&C system Performs mission analysis Writes and executes test plans and procedures Documents analysis results Creates presentations of analysis Requirements : Experience or understanding of at least one of the following areas and how they are applied : Attitude Dynamics, Astrodynamics, Controls Theory, Optimal Estimation, Numerical Optimization Experience with MATLAB / Simulink and / or C / C++ Experience with team collaborative tools (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, etc.) Ability to work hands on assembling and testing hardware Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision Ability to work well in a team with other students and professionals Strong initiative and ability to see the job through Good communication skills, both written and verbal Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or other US person Education : Must be pursuing a degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related field Senior or graduate student 3.0 GPA minimum is required If you’re unsure if you are qualified, we still want to hear from you!
