Our client, Shelter House, is hiring for a Director of People & Culture! Bring your passion for people, culture, and purpose to a nonprofit that's making a powerful impact in the fight against homelessness and domestic violence. Shelter House was founded in 1981 as a grassroots response to homelessness in Fairfax County. Today, we're a mission-driven nonprofit with over 100 employees working to prevent and end homelessness and domestic violence. Our culture is built on the values of Inclusivity, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Empowerment (iC.A.R.E.), and we take pride in the difference we make in the lives of nearly 2,000 individuals each year.
About The Role
As the Director of People & Culture, you'll be a strategic partner to Shelter House's leadership team. You'll guide people practices that align with our mission and values, while leading a broad scope of HR functions, from compliance and benefits to talent development and culture-building. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to shape how we support and grow our people.
