Job Title : Registered Nurse

Job Specialty : Cath Lab

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (06 : 30 - 17 : 00)

Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required

License : SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to starting

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have : Radiation badge

Job Description :

• Work in a Cath Lab team consisting of 3 full-time nurses and a pre / post-procedure area staffed by 2 registered nurses with 4 bays.
• Perform duties in a single Cath Lab procedure room.
• Participate in mandatory callbacks for post PCI patients from Monday to Saturday; no STEMI call required.
• No requirement to work weekends or to float between service lines.
• Accommodate potential block scheduling upon managerial approval and based on unit needs.
• Complete pre-start compliance modules with average 4 hours of non-billable time.
• Attend 16 hours of non-billable orientation.
• Be on standby for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November).
• Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred.
• Scrubs are provided.
• Comply with flu vaccine requirements, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons only.
• Must be able to include all time-off requests during submission for planning purposes.

Please note that candidates previously employed as permanent staff need to have a gap of one year before returning as a traveler in the system.
