Job Description
Senior Project Architect / Manager – Architecture + Interiors
Brereton is hiring a seasoned Senior Project Architect / Manager to lead the execution of complex architectural and interiors projects from concept through completion. This leadership role combines project oversight, client management, team mentorship, and a strong focus on quality, budget, and schedule performance.
What You’ll Do
- Manage all phases of one large or several small / mid-sized projects
- Define scope, structure project teams, and lead scheduling and budgeting efforts
- Serve as the primary client contact—building trust and ensuring clear communication
- Develop fee proposals, negotiate contracts, and monitor project profitability
- Oversee design development, working drawings, specs, and construction administration
- Coordinate internal teams and external consultants to ensure technical excellence
- Track project progress, manage risk, and maintain alignment with firm standards
- Mentor and supervise staff, contribute to internal standards, and participate in knowledge-sharing groups
