Job Details

The successful candidate will be responsible for budget management, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and is well-versed in working closely with management. In this role you’ll work not only on traditional accounting tasks but also play a critical role in speaking into the processes and workflows to lay the groundwork for scaling an efficient and effective accounting / finance function as the organization grows.

Job Responsibilities :

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations : This includes treasury, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger management, tax, and revenue recognition.
• Drive the month-end close process, seeking continuous improvement, speed and accuracy.
• Manage and mentor the accounting / finance team (5)
• Monitor the financial performance and cashflow of the company that enables the business to make optimal decisions.
• Compile and analyze financial reporting packages
• Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with regulations and the company’s policy and procedures
• Implement best practices as it relates to systems, processes, and procedures focused on data accuracy and timeliness
• Act as primary contact for external financial partners and auditors along with managing associated processes
• Participate in the development and support of the company’s strategic plans
