About The Position

• Knowledge of arterial lines and ventilator care
• Experience with CRRT and post-procedure site care

Description :

Community-based hospital with a focus on advanced patient care.

The facility has 304 licensed beds and is accredited as a Chest Pain Center.

It has a Primary Stroke Center designation.

The ICU unit has 20 beds with an average daily census of 18 patients.

The unit serves general medical patients requiring advanced hemodynamics and monitoring.

Common patient types include those with respiratory failure, renal failure, and severe sepsis.

The unit cares for surgical patients needing continuous support for cardiac and respiratory health.

Patient ratios are 1 : 2 for ICU care, with 1 : 1 for high acuity cases.

Support staff includes CNAs, charge nurses, and rapid response teams.

Technology used includes an EMR system, IV pumps, and specialized monitors.

The unit culture emphasizes teamwork and collaboration among health care providers.

Weekend rotations are required every other week, with holiday expectations set at 75%.
