Shift : Multiple Shifts Available (Days, Mids, & Nights)

Why Youll Love This Role

As an Emergency Department RN, youll be at the heart of providing compassionate, high-quality nursing to patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. Youll work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and play a vital role in patient advocacy, education, and care coordination.

What Youll Do

  • Deliver expert emergency nursing care using the full nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Support patients and families with empathy, education, and clear communication.
  • Respond swiftly and calmly to emergent and critical situations.
  • Triage patients efficiently and accurately.
  • Document care thoroughly and thoughtfully.
  • Serve as a mentor and preceptor for new team members and students.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.

    • What Were Looking For

    RN License : Current or compact state license (Iowa).

    Experience : One year of RN experience preferred. New grads welcome if youve completed a senior preceptorship in our ED or have relevant emergency / EMS experience.

    Certifications

  • Mandatory Reporter training (within 3 months of hire)
  • BLS (within 6 weeks)
  • ACLS (within 6 months)
  • TNCC (within 1 year)
  • PALS (within 3 months)
