Facility : 2nd Floor ICU, 14-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit
Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse
Start Date : October 27, 2025
End Date : January 26, 2026
Duration : 13-week contract
Shift : 12-hour days (6 : 30 AM – 6 : 30 PM), every other weekend required
Hours per Week : 36 (guaranteed hours)
Estimated Weekly Pay : $1880 - $2020
Electronic Health Record : Paragon EHR
ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Washington state or compact RN license)
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
Medical ICU experience preferred; TNCC certification is a plus
Strong teamwork and communication skills in a clinical setting
Must reside more than 60 miles from Kennewick, WA to qualify as a travel nurse
ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric patients in a Medical ICU
Manage patients with sepsis, respiratory conditions, cardiac and trauma cases
Maintain a 1 : 2 nurse-to-patient ratio; charge nurse is non-assigned
Operate and monitor specialized equipment, including IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) as needed
Accurately document patient care and interventions using Paragon EHR
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to uphold best practices
Float to other hospital units as needed within scope of practice
