Armed with a diverse of hand tools, you'll expertly remove burrs and sharp edges, all while interpreting detailed engineering prints and quality standards with precision. Monitoring tooling wear and dimensional tolerances, you'll swiftly identify and rectify non-conforming features using advanced tools like Optical Comparators. Your attention to detail extends to maintaining optimal levels of cleaning fluids and verifying calibration of inspection equipment. Our Collins Aerospace York, NE site is a manufacturer of highly engineered precision components supporting both commercial and military customers. Manufactured components are used primarily in generators and Ram Air Turbines (RAT) used for aircraft emergency power generation. Our Ram Air Turbines save lives, over 2,600 lives.
