Description :

Eden Brothers is seeking a full-time Warehouse Inventory Clerk to join our operations team! This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, assisting with stock organization, and supporting the warehouse team with daily inventory tasks.

Requirements :

  • Count inventory of seeds, bulbs, and materials to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits, focusing on seasonal and high-demand seeds and bulbs, to maintain precise records.
  • Inspect and record incoming shipments of seeds and bulbs, ensuring they meet quality standards and match purchase orders.
  • Organize and label seeds, bulb crates, and other planting materials for efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Perform cycle counts and adjust inventory discrepancies for both seed and bulb stock.
  • Replenish shelves from back stock to ensure products are always available for picking.
  • Rotate stock to ensure older inventory is prioritized for picking, reducing waste and expired products.
  • Utilize inventory management software to input and track movements of seed varieties, bulb types, and related supplies.
  • Identify and segregate damaged, expired, or non-viable seeds and bulbs, coordinating their proper disposal or return.
  • Prepare and move bulk quantities of seeds or bulbs between warehouses to balance stock levels.
  • Maintain clean and organized storage areas, minimizing contamination risks for seeds and bulbs.
  • Other duties, as needed, to support inventory and operational efficiency.

Required Skills :

  • Attention to detail
  • Computer PC Basic Navigation - Using scroll bars, a mouse, and dialog boxes to work within the computer or tablet’s operating system. Being able to access and switch between applications and files of interest.
  • Fast-paced environment, must work with a sense of urgency and be willing to learn
  • Must be a self-starter and able to complete tasks / deadlines without direct supervision

    • Education and Experience :

  • High School Diploma
  • The ideal candidate will have some experience in a warehouse environment. Must have experience with various computer programs and a good working knowledge of computers and tablets.

    • Working Conditions : Warehouse environment

    Physical Requirements : This job requires standing / walking during the majority of the shift and being able to push and pull a heavy cart and lift up to 50lbs.

    Manual pallet jacks

    Possible use of packing tools :

    Seed packing machine

    Heat sealer

    Razor knife

    Label printer

    Other duties as assigned.
