GENERAL FUNCTION :

Leads efforts to develop, monitor and maintain processes, frameworks, and tools ensuring reliability and scalability to support advanced analytics, predictive modeling, machine learning, and decision-making. Focuses on engineering data products and implementing automated processes that enable analytic product development. Works with business and technology teams through consultative partnerships to define data strategy, explore new tools, establish best practices, and enable technical capabilities across the team.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Defines and implements standards for data strategy, code quality, and lifecycle management while providing technical guidance and mentorship on automation, data engineering, and best practices.
• Designs, builds and maintains large and complex information sets optimized for performance and reliability; Integrates and extracts relevant information from large amounts of both structured and unstructured data (internal and external) to enable analytical solutions.
• Develops reusable frameworks, APIs, and tools that empower analysts and data scientists to work efficiently.
• Seeks out and identifies ad hoc, manual or fragmented processes and transforms them into automated, reliable, deployable solutions using modern practices.
• Partners with key stakeholders to understand business needs, translates business strategy and goals into manageable problems, and formulates, communicates, and gains buy in for solutions with well defined, measurable outcomes.
• Produces ad hoc reporting and analytics to support requests from the Bank's various lines of business.
• Provides input into the creation of detailed project plans, work assignments, target dates and other aspects of assigned projects.

Total Base Pay Range 80,500.00 - 169,100.00 USD Annual

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and / or individual performance.
