Oscar Wilde NYC, home to the longest bar in New York City, is seeking a vibrant, energetic, and hospitality-driven Floor Manager to join our leadership team.

We’re seeking someone with :
A strong background in both food and beverage operationsBar and floor management experience in a high-volume settingThe ability to lead with hospitality, inspire teams, and maintain exceptional service standardsWorking knowledge of Toast, SevenRooms, Resy, and OpenTableValid NYC DOH Food Protection Certificate (Required)Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage daily FOH operations with professionalism and urgencyCreate and maintain weekly FOH schedulesHire, train, and mentor a high-performance teamProvide hands-on coaching and elevate guest engagementEnsure team knowledge of current menus, ingredients, and beverage pairingsOversee quality, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all health and labor lawsAssist with P&L management, inventory, labor costs, and financial reportingExecute service with a passion for excellence and attention to detailFoster a welcoming and inclusive culture for guests and staffRequirements & Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a floor or service manager roleNYC DOH Food Protection Certificate (Required)Solid wine, spirits, and cocktail knowledgeStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skillsExperience managing and motivating FOH teamsFamiliarity with NYC labor laws, safety protocols, and sanitation best practicesBackground in event production and hosting is a plusBased in New York and authorized to work in the U.S.Skills That Set You ApartEntrepreneurial mindset and self-motivationWarm, confident leadership stylePassion for hospitality and team developmentExperience with high-volume NYC restaurants or barsJoin the CDG Family
