Join Our Team as an Employment Connection Specialist!

Are you passionate about helping individuals find meaningful employment? Do you have a strong background in career counseling and job placement services? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at Southeastern Directions for Life in Sioux Falls, SD!

Position Overview :

As an Employment Connection Specialist, you will work closely with clients to assess their skills, interests, and goals, and provide them with the necessary tools, training and resources to secure employment. You will collaborate with employers in the community and facilitate a successful transition into the workforce. Additionally, you will provide ongoing support and guidance to help clients maintain long-term employment and achieve their career objectives. The hours for this position are mainly M-F 8-4, but occasional evening and / or weekend work may be required.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide job readiness training

assist in creating resume's and master applications

Find job leads that match clients skills

Check in with clients after they have started a new position

may also include attending orientation with the client and assisting with new employee training and job coaching
