Are you a manufacturing pro looking for a new and exciting opportunity?

APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Chesterfield, MI looking to add Production Workers to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to lay carbon fiber over molds and use equipment to make client parts. Keep reading for more details!

What’s in it for you :

  • 1st shift opportunity - Monday to Friday from 7am-3 : 30pm
  • Competitive hourly rate ranging between $14-$20 / hr. depending on experience
  • Contract-to-hire position - you'll be hired based on attendance, performance and client needs

    • What your day will look like :

  • Lay up pre-preg carbon fiber over existing molds
  • Operate automatic debulking and tool extraction machinery
  • Organize patterns and perform basic math as needed
  • Perform physical tasks including stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, good attendance, and willingness to learn quickly
  • Potential to start in the carbon fiber layup department depending on skills and experience

    • What we are looking for :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years in a manufacturing environment required; experience with composite materials preferred
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Backgrounds in fabrication, auto body work or general craftsmanship are preferred
