Job Description :
The Clinical Quality Improvement Nurse will support quality improvement initiatives through clinical expertise and analytical skills using rigorous quality improvement processes.
Essential Functions
- Lead and participate in quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient care and safety.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret clinical data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement evidence-based policies and procedures to improve clinical practices.
- Provide training and support to clinical staff on quality improvement methodologies and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, including those set by accrediting bodies and healthcare organizations.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective quality improvement strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality improvement activities, outcomes, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Advocate for patient safety and quality care by identifying and addressing barriers to high-quality care.

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Education will be verified.Current RN license.Demonstrates strong knowledge and understanding of medical terminology, medical acronyms, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology and ICD-10-CM / PCS, DRG, and APR-DRG classification systems.Demonstrated clinical nursing experience.Demonstrated experience with the application of and success with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or PDSA / IHI Model for Improvement.Demonstrated experience in healthcare performance improvementExperience with EPIC preferred.Physical Requirements :
