Job Title : Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist

Location : Hunt Valley, MD (Hybrid)

Employment Type : Full-Time

Are you an experienced AR Specialist looking to join a dynamic team in Hunt Valley, MD? Our client, a privately-held, company in Hunt Valley is seeking to hire a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist . This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and in-office(1-2 days onsite / week), along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities :

As an AR Specialist , you will :

  • Prepare and generate accurate customer invoices on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Maintain up-to-date accounts receivable records and ensure timely application of incoming payments.
  • Verify invoice documentation and resolve discrepancies between payments and invoices.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger with the general ledger.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and payments.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries.
  • Post invoices using Dynamics 365 and develop reports using Excel and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

    • Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an AR Specialist or similar accounting role.
  • Invoicing, billing, general ledger, and collections experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience with accounting software, preferably Dynamics 365.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
